Community Security Enhancement
Safety first. Our Community Security Enhancement is a crowd-powered alert system built into the app to help neighbors respond quickly when someone is in danger.
How it works
- User presses the SOS / Panic button inside the app.
- The app sends an alert to Hubb Connect users within a 500-meter radius of the incident.
- Nearby users receive a push notification and can respond or call for help.
- In future phases we will enable verified escalation to hospitals and security partners.

- National security threats / mass emergencies (situational)
Safety, privacy & best practices
- Users must enable location permissions for accurate alerts.
- We recommend keeping location services on while using safety features for reliability.
- False alarms are discouraged — use SOS only for real emergencies; repeated false alarms may be flagged.
- Hubb Connect will not replace official emergency services — always call local emergency numbers in parallel when appropriate.
- We are committed to privacy: location data used for alerts is limited to proximity and will not be published publicly (see our Privacy Policy for details).
